Kitchen Cosmetics

It's a kitchen cosmetics blog party!
These are recipes I have gathered throughout the years and each one using ingredients readily available right in your very own kitchen.

Have fun creating and treating yourself!

Champagne Hair Rinse

1/2 cup old champagne
1/2 cup hot water
Mix ingredients thoroughly. After shampooing and rinsing well, pour champagne rinse thorugh hair.
DO NOT RINSE AGAIN. Regular conditioner can be used before using the champagne hair rinse, if desired.
This is an old french secret for making hair shiny, silky and healthy. For light colored hair it brings out the golden highlights. It will not dry or damage the hair.

Body Polisher
2 cups plain yogurt
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon almond oil (omit if skin is acne prone)

Mix ingredients thoroughly. Dampen skin in shower and massage mixture over entire body. Rinse with warm water and rinse again immediately with cold water to boost circulation.

Have a great day everyone!
